“Firstly I will say the pictures for Garth Cottage really don’t do it justice, to fully appreciate this gorgeous boutique hidden hideaway in Brampton, You really need to see it first hand . The village of Brampton is only a 15 minute drive from the M6 and 20 mins from Carlisle and has lots of the usual amenities of a large village. Garth Cottage is set in the grounds of Garth House which was built in circa 1830 and was once the houses stables . Garth Cottage has its own private driveway and parking, the well established gardens are peaceful and pleasant . The cottage itself has been completely restored to an exceptional high standard giving the air of a boutique hotel, but with 3 bedrooms all with their own private en suites. We are a family of 5 and our two teenagers loved having there own bedrooms and en-suites . I could rave about how nice this place is from the all new kitchen with AEG appliances to the bedrooms , with the upstairs bedrooms both having copper bottom baths as well as large walk in showers . The large high ceilings in most rooms show the Oak beams off and the fit an finish of the whole place is outstanding, including the outside and the large hot tub too . If you have the opportunity to visit Garth Cottage then you must go and experience it for yourself, You won’t be disappointed, Our greatest regret about Garth Cottage is we couldn’t stay longer , And if I could give it more than the 5 star rating I would , Thanks to Dawn an Gordon for all your Help”.
